Sarah Palin John McCain Obama President Mealticket Help Republican

Is Sarah Palin, John McCain’s Mealticket?

It seemed like everyone, including me, was counting out a Republican winning this years election.  Don’t get me wrong, I have liked past Republican candidates, but John McCain wasn’t very exciting to me.  That and the fact that the county had come together and proclaimed loudly that they hated President Bush.  One would assume that there were even Republicans jumping ship at the choices Bush made that probably could have been made differently.

  • It seemed that perhaps we could give the Democrats a chance, and see if they had what it takes to put this country back on track.  They talk big, but would their choices be any different?

So, there was the dilemma:  Republicans hated, Obama loved…then all of the sudden we see in the distance coming on a dogsled and wearing Tina Fey Glasses (to quote SNL) Sarah Palin.  Yes, a true sight to see.  Sporting her no nonsense approach and her unmistakable “hotness”, she seemed that she could turn things around for the Republican Party.

Sarah Palin seems to be getting more press than John McCain.  Do you think that bothers him though?  Probably not, she isn’t running against him.  Mealticket?  Probably.  That’s my take anyhow.  If a Republican wins this election, it will be either because Sarah Palin came along lookin’ all hot, or that God is a Republican.  I’m betting on the first one.

No doubt she is cute as a button BUT Don’t you trust God? God loves America and every human being on this planet he no doubt will allow Obama to win and Obama will survive no doubt attempts to defeat him and perhaps maybe even attempts on his life.He may even have the wound that apparently healed supernaturally, you study the word it should quite obvious that America will face some more perils but she will no doubt rise and feed the world.Although close it’s far from over.

I know that God raises up men to power and tears them down. I can have peace knowing that whomever gets elected, God is in control. Oh, and you can guarantee He is not a democrat either. He is the Lord strong and mighty!

    5. I agree. I also just posted an article about this on my own blog.

Sarah Palin has already made some pretty significant inroads in terms of making Obama appear like he is attacking her, when in reality almost all of the noise is generated by the McCain campaign.

You have Sarah Palin, which energizes McCain’s base, because of her conservative credentials, but who also hits Obama’s base, because any perceived attacks against her can be labeled as “sexist.”

I don’t think McCain’s campaign ever expected Hillary voters to love McCain because of Palin. But judging by what’s happened so far, I think they were expecting that Palin would make them dislike Obama.

A rather crafty move, in my opinion.

    7. Alot of good thinking here…

My thought was that many citizens will vote for Barack Obama b/c he is a much more , dare I say ‘charismatic’ personality’. I personally am concerned about that kind of thing. I’ve overheard conversations that confirm this. McCain does come off kinda unfocused, too soft-spoken at times. No intensity, to appearances, and people (maybe not persons w/discernment, but much of America may not have that) judge on appearances frequently. Palin supplies the spark. So, if McCain wins, maybe she was God’s remedy for his ‘deficiency’ in personality.

      @ Christina

I guess only time will tell. The stage is set by God anyhow, and all we can do is pray. I’m not saying everything will be easy, but at least under control.

      God bless!

The debate tonight is going to be very interesting. It’s going to be Palin’s first real test as to whether she can handle tough questioning. It’ll be make or break.

Sarah Palin lost the election for McCain in my opinion. Granted with the way W ran the country for the past 8 years, the American vote was not likely to go republican.

I didn’t believe even for a moment that McCain/Palin had any chances in that campaign. I think that without Palin McCain would have better chances.
