I just found out this information over at The Writing on The Wall website. It turns out that Ray Boltz is a homosexual. Here is a quote from Ray Boltz:
“It’s hard to say I came out because I didn’t have all the answers. I just admitted what I was struggling with and what I was feeling. It’s hard to go, ‘This is the point where I accepted my sexuality and who I was,’ but I came out to them and shared with them what I’d been going through.”
Why does it seem that a lot of musically talented people struggle with homosexuality. At our church tonight the Lee University Campus Choir performed and there was a testimony given of one of the members that had grown up in the church as a preachers kids and was then delivered from the homosexuality that he had been struggling with for all of his life. But it got me thinking about other musicians that I have heard of that struggle with this sin too. Maybe it just seems that way, but there are a few other Christian Artists that have struggled with homosexuality and through Christ, has overcome. Now I don’t know what Ray Boltz believes as far as it being a sin. I’ll have to look into that a little more. My thoughts are that you cannot be a Christian and practice an open sin like that. It isn’t something that God will deem “ok”.
UPDATE:::::
- According to this website, Ray Boltz is living a normal Gay lifestyle. So it seems he presently has no desire of victory, as he sees it ok to be gay. Our prayers are needed in his direction. May God intervene and show Himself in a way that Ray Boltz has only sung about and never experienced. I pray that victory prevails.

I think I may be speechless.
Like you, I don’t know if he believes that it’s a sin, but his statement sure doesn’t put any fears to rest. To even make it public - well, it seems like he’s trying to find justification. I pray he’s not, and that he seeks help.
With all of the “pro-homosexual” media out there, I think many Christians are trying to convince themselves that it’s not a sin. No one wants to step on any toes. Well, Christians step on toes. All the time. I keep asking my self, what is happening out there???? Why have we all turned yellow - what can there be to fear? It seems like the more we need Jesus, the more many turn away from Him.

Yea, we have had a pro homosexual media, and now it seems that we have a pro homosexual church. I pray for the sinner, but I don’t condone the sin. I’m not perfect myself, and there are things that I need to have the Lord continue to work on, but sins such as this, especially when you come public about them, need to be dealt with. The world is watching, and if the Church starts condoning these things, in order to not offend, we will be in even more trouble than we are now. God Help Us!

Please pray for India, Christians are being persecuted badly, 100s of churches have been destroyed, may Pastors killed and most of them are in Jail in Orrissa and North of Karanataka,now attacked have been carried out in Bangalore too, there is a threat now by the RSS to kill Pastor Paul in 24hrs, many churches and prayer halls have attacked by the VHP people and several attacks all over. Govt not doing any thing. Please pray that God will do something and protect the belivers. Orphanage homes too are being attacked, Nuns raped, many christians have fled and are hiding in the jungles, Parents of few SABC students were burnt to death, pregnant woman stabbed. The news channels are bringing false report and covering up the stories, please inform all belivers and request them to pray for us.
