“MY MUSLIM FAITH”
It seems as though Obama had a slip up in an interview with George Stephanolopoulos. Watch this video here to judge if you think it is a mistake or a fruedian slip. What would you think the implications would be if a practicing Muslim were elected as President of the United states? Would there be any, or are his other policies good enough that we should overlook if he truly is a Muslim? Here lately I have been drawn toward some of the Democratic “social” policies versus the Republican, but give me your thoughts on the impact that a Muslim might have on the US.

I wouldn’t consider it an issue if he were a Muslim, but I’d consider it a major issue if he’d been actively lying about his religion to get elected, to the point of attending Christian church.

I think there are milleions of American citizens who have been mislead into believeing that the founding father created a Consitution that made the USA a a Christian nation need to go back to school and learn some history. I also think that the despicable hatred that has been directed towards Muslims in the USA can be attributed to the Bush Administration. When clearly read with the historical context in mind the founding fathers made sure that the bullcrap referred to as “the divine right of kings” was not upheld in the American Constution and Bill of Rights. IMO it’s long past time for the American hypocrisies regarding freedom of religion and full and equal rights for women are either activated or removed from those documensts.
