I just read a post at the Gay Christian Movement Watch website, talking about TD Jakes and his False Doctrine about Ruth and Naomi possibly being Lesbians. He also eludes to David and Jonathan having a similar type of relationship. If this is the case, and Bishop TD Jakes is indeed supporting Homosexual Christianity, than why isn’t the Church World saying anything about this. I will have to dig deeper to see if there is any other evangelicals supporting his views on this issue. You can read the article here.

Simply alluding to a possibility doesn’t necessarily mean he’s pushing an agenda. I never heard anything like that said about Ruth and Naomi but about David and Jonathan, yes. That one comment about his love surpassing the love of a woman sounds pretty bad but it doesn’t have to mean anything like that.
I’m not defending Jakes, I know nothing about him and I would certainly check into it if I listened to the guy or knew someone who did to find out one way or the other what he’s saying.

Yea, I had never heard it about Ruth and Naomi. Like I said, I am going to look and see If I can find more quotes from TD Jakes. Yesterday was just the first I had heard of it, so If it is true, in time the truth will come out.

Doesn’t state in the bible that it is a sin to be a homosexual? How can there be a homosexual christian? I am not talking about the two in this post but in general. I don’t believe in that.

Yes there are many references to homosexuality being a sin in the Word of God. To openly practice such sin and still claim that you are a christian is “oxymoron-esque”. I still sin…we all do… but I don’t think that someone who still practices homosexuality is saved. I believe that God can save the Homosexual, and I pray he does, but for the homosexuals to say that God is ok with their lifestyle is unscriptural.
