Emergent Leader Brian McLaren Endorse Obama False DoctrineOh yea, Obama is in support of families as the video below says, but wants to murder, by abortion, millions of innocent babies every year. Yea, that shows a real “family man” if you ask me. What a crock! Brian Mclaren is full of it! He always was with his false doctrine , but even more so now with this endorsement and this advertisement for Obama for president.  Watch this video and all of the other endorsers supporting Obama and his “family values” and judge it for yourself.  Maybe you like killing babies.  Maybe you don’t think that Abortion is Murder. At least I am not talking about Todd Bentley this time.

Not surprising. Something tells me McLaren really wants a spiritual adviser position in the Obama entourage.

    2. There are many Christians voting for Obama. Even ones that have not thrown the gospel of redemption out for the gospel of the kingdom like McLaren. However, I don’t get it. I can’t get past the abortion issue. The only thing I can reason is that these brothers and sisters have convinced themselves that a fetus is not a living person created in the image of God.

You asked if I was pushing the Dominion Theology (I’d actually not heard of it before you gave me the link). I think I tend to fall too far the other way. I easily get too pessimistic with where we’re headed when Christ followers can choose a perceived better economic plan over dealing with the mass killing of babies.

What is most concerning is that we could easily come to a time when we don’t have any pro-life or pro-anything-else-Christian candidate to choose from.

That’s why I need to remember the kingdom of God that is here now. I need to encourage myself that despite the evil in this world, the King is still on His throne. I know it’s going to get worse before the end - but I think we can’t give up. Maybe there are yet a couple of great revivals left in our Church.

      Grace and Peace brother.

Glen, You better believe that he will be top pick, should Obama take the election in November.

      Tony,

Yea, I know a lot of people voting for Obama that are Christians. I actually thought about it, even on this abortion issue. My thoughts were: “Well, even when the pro life people are in, they do NOTHING about this issue either, so, what is the difference”? But I have since come to my senses about this.

Thank you for clearing up the “Dominion Theology” thing. I just heard some “keywords” that are indicators, and just wanted to ask. I can see know that your terminology is totally different from theirs.

      Bless you,
      Tony

It is not honest or accurate to say that Obama “wants to murder millions of babies.” He has said that he is against abortion personally, but does not agree with criminalizing it. I know you don’t agree with that, but it is not honest to say that he “wants” to murder babies.

I am against abortion. I think it is wrong. I wish it didn’t happen. But the polarizing on both sides politically is not helping. Republicans, and most evangelical Christians, are only interested in talking about making abortion illegal, not reducing it. A great hope, but the reality is, barring a miracle, it’s not happening through political means. They’ve been trying for over 30 years, with no success.

I have never met anyone, even pro-choice advocates, who wants or favors abortion, or who thinks abortion is a good thing. They just don’t want change forced by the government.

So people fight to abolish abortion, don’t really make progress, and fuel the other side. What if both sides agreed that reducing abortion would be good for everyone, and worked together to find ways to do it?

I know, many will say reducing it isn’t enough. But isn’t reducing it better than nothing? If we can’t save them all, shouldn’t we do whatever we can to save some? I believe that instead of working through the legal system, the church needs to take the lead on this, first of all through prayer, then by trying to bring people together to aid, educate, love and support people, doing all we can to promote a pro-life perspective for all.

Todd, you are right about my statement on “wanting to murder” I know he doesn’t see it that way as a personal “want” of his. I was using dark sarcasm to make the point of a so called christian leader endorsing a guy that has made it clear where he stood on abortion.

Reducing abortion is good, but the ultimate goal is no government sanctioned abortion period. I know people will still “find ways” but when things are readily available, it makes people more prone to do it.

Thank you for your well thought out comment. I appreciate it!

      God Bless.
