False DoctrineFalse Doctrine.  What is False Doctrine? Well, simply stated, False Doctrine is giving people the wrong medicine for a prescription. How does that relate to the church world? If the problem with the world is sin (and it is). And the solution to that problem is the Finished Work of Christ (which it is), then it would be False Doctrine to prescribe ANYTHING else as a solution to that. To make the church out to be solely a humanitarian effort, is preaching False Doctrine. To recommend humanistic psychology for mans problems, is preaching False Doctrine. To proclaim good deeds as the mission, is preaching False Doctrine.

Man loves to hear False Doctrine. It isn’t pleasant to hear that you are a sinner on your way to hell. It is comforting to the flesh to hear feelgood sermons that make you laugh and smile and promote unity for the good of the world. I mean, we live in the world, shouldn’t we strive to make it a better place? So False Doctrine, doesn’t convict us that our righteousness is as filthy rags. It actually makes us self-righteous. People begin to forget why Christ died in the first place. That all goes to the side burner so that we can “serve man”. But if we truly think about it, if we are feeding the hungry only physically, are we really doing any good? Shouldn’t we be feeding them spiritually?

False Doctrine is everywhere. In the end, it is you that is accountable for yourself. Be Watchful.
