“Why Don’t You Live Your Best Life, Now”
“There Is A Champion Inside You”
“Does My Smile Annoy You”
You probably aren’t used to this type of language used to preach the message of the Bible, but these days, this is what is passed off as the gospel. Wanna-be Tony Robbins impersonators are swarming into modern day evangelical groups like never before, all wanting to become that all important guru in someone else’s life, or as they would like to be called: “Life Coaches”.
Simply put, the defination of Life Coach is:
“A coaching/client relationship in which the partnership works to resolve personal, emotional, behavioral, spiritual, and lifestyle issues.”
These “Life Coaches” are seeking to undermine everything the Bible stands for, but in the Name of the Bible. They realize that people are naive and will follow the crowd without question. These preachers are taking that and using it to their own advantages, twisting scripture and changing the translated meanings to make their message more profitable.
Just for fun, I’m going to show you how a Life Coach would change Pauls writings to the Galatians to fit their own needs and ideals. Lets use chapter 3:1-6 as an example. Open your Bible and see the real meaning:
1 Hey Galatian Church! Round table discussion time. Have you been listening to those other life coaches? sometimes they might tell you the wrong things, so run it by me first. You are looking good today.
2 I’m the one that told you how to be a winner for God right?
3 Let’s try to remember our first steps to becoming a champion, don’t forget to chant that daily?
4 You have so much potential, it isn’t all for nothing.
5 You do trust me don’t you? You do realize that I am of God, right?
6 Remember Abraham? He believed the steps to success, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.
Get the point? It sounds good and everything to the flesh, but will anyone get saved by that message? Probably not.
