Another Christian historical book has been attacked, but this time by semi-popular TV network PBS. You might know PBS from it’s successful, world reaching programs such as:

The Charlie Rose Show
YES, only the greatest, most enduring shows get placed on PBS and this documentary is no exception.
This documentary, called “The Bible’s Buried Secrets,” attempts to debunk the God-inspired belief on the books of the Pentateuch and replace it with a belief that even Abraham, Sarah, and their offspring didn’t even exist.
The program says the Bible was written in the sixth century BC and that hundreds of authors contributed.
Why is Christianity, and in this case Judaism, attacked so frequently? The world loves to proverbially “pick on” the God of the Bible. Could it be that the Bible is right? And if the fact that the Bible is correct, then that would mean that there also exists and “enemy” of God - namely Satan. And if Satan exists, wouldn’t that make him want to work to disprove Christianity and bully God’s people? It only makes sense. Where is the Hindu Bashing? Where are the atheists debating the Harry Chrishnas or the FLDS church. They don’t because Satan doesn’t feel the need to fight against himself.
But, the Christian world will not say a thing. We will do what we always do and “endure til the end.” Sadly this is the attitude, and although that attitude is Biblical, there comes a time when we have to speak up. If not, more books will be written, more movies will be made, and more people will know that they can say anything against Christians, and the Christian will just “turn the other cheek”.

Really? You can’t actually believe what you wrote. The reason Christianity (as well as Catholocism, and Islam; both of which you failed to mention) are attacked is because of the absolute irrationality of their claims. Add to that all three of the monotheistic religions seek only to control, and to that end force their will upon those who do not want it. It isn’t because they are right and Satan (you really need to learn your bible history if you actually believe satan was part of any of the three monotheistics at the outset) is trying to deceive us.

Even Genesis mentions Satan. Islam does not fall into the category I am talking about, so I didn’t mention them, and Catholicism isn’t legit to use either. I am speaking as a christian about how modern society views their foundational beliefs or beliefs in general. It is a farce to them/you.

Actually, the bible refers to Lucifer, even in Genesis. It isn’t until deep in the New Testament that Lucifer=Satan. for instance, Isaiah 14 refers to Lucifer as a/the King of Babylon. Not Satan.
No, you didn’t mention the other two monotheistic religions. Odd that. They are essentially the same drivel with different trappings. Yes, the monotheistic religions are a farce. That does not mean there is no divine being, but any religion that claims to be the only path to enlightenment needs to be looked at with a very critical eye.

“Lucifer” is the name of Satan. I’m not saying anything about a path to “enlightenment” I claim that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven. We will live forever and be “enlightened” either way. We will either have that enlightenment in Heaven or Hell. It is totally up to you.

Instead of taking others word for things, why don’t you put a little effort into learning something yourself. Read the Bible, see what It says, not what wikipedia says. That is just laughable. LOL
