Ok, that headline was a little rough, I’ll admit, but I didn’t even know they were still a band anymore. Goes to show ya what will happen when you quit listening to your local “Purpose Driven” contemporary Christian station will do to ya.

One of these girls is Heather...no time to figure out which one.

But, yes, it is official, Heather Payne, a founding member of Point of Grace has announced that she can no longer tour the world singing and making (insert plural unit of measurement – less than a ton here) of money doing it.

She is a busy lady though, what with her 3 children to raise and her bake sales to attend to at church. You couldn’t ask for a more dedicated person than Heather. Ok I will stop the sarcasm. I’m sure I’ll miss her, You will certainly be able to tell a difference with just 3 people singing, as opposed to 4…..wait…what’s that?….Oooooh. Come to find out they are replacing her with another automaton to sing her harmonies. Yay! It stays a quartet. A quartet of untouchable beautiful ladies singing for Jesus.

Farewell and Godspeed Heather. You will be missed…by someone…in Arkansas.

This hurts my heart in ways you’ll never know….. now which one was she again???

  2. That seems rather harsh, what don’t you like about them? I don’t particularly like their music but there are two songs I like a lot, don’t know any more. And what’s wrong with a woman deciding she had better tend to her family instead of living a young musician’s dream life? I don’t understand your vitriol!
